This volume offers an insight into the diversity of inter- and intralinguistic research perspectives. The contributions are devoted to intralinguistic phe - nomena in German, Romanian, English, French, Spanish and Sisaali as well as linguistic peculiarities explored from an intercultural perspective and also aspects of foreign language acquisition. The theoretical issues and praxeo - logical perspectives presented in the volume are intended as a proposal to reflect on and possibly revise the long-established approaches and methods of contrastive linguistics.
